Organiser Belinda Graham said it gives children the chance to play fun games, learn new activities and crafts and make new friends.
She said each individual gets their very own record book so they can keep track of what they have done, this goes towards earning them badges.
"It is a great thing for young people to be involved in. They get to keep track of what they have done with their own record book and this helps them to achieve badges," she said.
"It isn't just inside, we do a lot of outside activities as well."
There is also plenty of interaction with many of the other groups of Scouts including the younger Joeys (6-7yrs) and older Scouts (10-14), Venturers (14-17yrs), Rovers (18-25yrs) and Leaders (18 and over).
