The 70 Lowe Street Christmas raffle is comprised of a $3,000 voucher that can be used anywhere in the Ararat Harvey Norman store, to purchase either furniture or electrical items.
70 Lowe Street Auxiliary president Jane Richardson said the Auxiliary was so happy that the Ararat Harvey Norman store had generously donated such a great prize for this year's raffle.
"We are hoping to raise enough money this year to help with the lifestyle activities for the new dementia unit to be set up in 70 Lowe Street next year," she said.
Both Marcel George and Mark Townsend of Ararat Harvey Norman believe it is great to support causes such as this one in the Ararat community.
"We at Harvey Norman like to support local community group fundraising events, it's our way of saying thank you to all the locals who support us during the year," they said.
So, if you would like to support the 70 Lowe Street fundraising efforts, please drop into the East Grampians Health Service or the Harvey Norman store and purchase some raffle tickets. For further information, please contact Danny Drake on 53529387.
