The Ararat event once again involves two distances, a four kilometre walk and eight kilometre run.
This year the eight kilometre run will be timed, so if people would like their run to be timed they will need to register online as exact numbers are needed prior to the day.
For people who want to do the run on the day but don't register online they can register on the day for the run but it will not be timed. They have a choice of a four kilometre or eight kilometre run.
"We would also like to see as many come along and support all walkers and runners, as we see this is such a worthy cause to assist in fundraising in support of breast cancer research," committee member Julie Kilpatrick said.
"This is also a great opportunity to join in the cause for the Ararat community in the Biggest Loser challenge Ararat.
"It's a great opportunity to be active for the health and well being of the community and individually."
The Mother's Day Classic will be held during the filming period for The Biggest Loser and there is the possibility the event will be filmed for the program.
If you wish to make a stand alone donation to the Mother's Day Classic for breast cancer research, you can do so from the website or for more details on the Ararat event and registration closing dates go to www.mothersdayclassic.com.au
