Volunteer numbers boosted at Avoca Salvos

WITH many volunteer groups across the region still suffering from low membership numbers, Avoca Salvos might be the exception. An increase in volunteers has allowed the Salvos Op Shop to expand its opening hours, easing the workload on its dedicated team while improving service for customers.

Avoca Salvos have bucked the trend of dwindling volunteer numbers after locals put up their hands to keep the shop open including Jo and Kay.
