Stawell Performing Arts Company’s production Into the Woods has garnered rave reviews after two weeks of performances. First-time producer Margaret Arnup said she was proud of the effort SPACi’s performers put in. “It went really well, we’ve had some good reviews from the audience,” Ms Arnup said.
Stawell Performing Arts Company presented Into the Woods at Stawell Entertainment Centre.
Into The Woods takes audiences on a journey featuring all-time favourite fairy tale characters, intertwines the plots of several Brothers Grimm fairy tales and explores the consequences of the characters' wishes and quests, with the main characters taken from stories such as Little Red Riding Hood, Jack and the Beanstalk, Rapunzel and Cinderella.
