Remembrance Day is a time for the wider community to recognise those who served for their country and pay respect to fallen and returned soldiers.
Ararat RSL manager Maria Whitford has announced the plans for this year's event.
"There will be a small service in the morning at the war memorial at around 11am."
"Frank Neulist, our president, will do a little speech and then there will be a little morning tea at the RSL," she said.

"They will be back and will start on the 1st of November," she said.
"Our sellers will be selling poppies and other merchandise about two weeks before.
