LEADERSHIP remains consistent at the Ararat Rats as David Hosking recommitted to the club as president for next season.
2022 will be his third year in the position.
Hosking said after taking over as president at the end of 2019, he "wouldn't mind being in charge for a full season."
"I can confirm I am going to be running as president again," he said.
"Mainly because the two years I have been president, one year we didn't play and this year has been interrupted so I wouldn't mind being in charge for a full season."
Hosking said he is looking forward to returning to normality once restrictions are eased.
"Covid-19 has disrupted everything," he said.
"For us, Covid-19 has meant that everything that we do and have tried to do has been difficult or disrupted.
"Right now, we are technically not allowed to meet, we can have a zoom meeting, but it's just not the same.
"It's just been really awkward and difficult for everyone, not just our club, we look forward to returning to the club."

Hosking said the club plans on presenting the awards won at the club's best and fairest at an in-person event in November.
"We hope sometime in November when things open up again we can have a presentation day or night.
"We are still going to have the best and fairest and the various other club awards that we have.
"If you win the best and fairest, I think you're entitled to your moment in the sun and be able to celebrate, instead of someone handing over the trophy over a live stream.
"We will do something, but we are just going to have to wait until the government allows us to do it."
Hosking said the Rats are primed to have a great season in 2022.
"The club is in a good place," he said.
"We are looking forward to next year.
"We are extremely optimistic, hopefully we will have a pretty good year."
