Reggie finished the best and fairest vote count on 24 votes, eight votes clear of second place Will Chamings of the Mounties.
He had a phenomenal season, winning the Jack Costello award for the league's leading goal kicker and being judged best on ground in eight of the 10 matches played.
Reggie was "a bit excited" when he thought he was a chance of winning.
"When I found out I was in the lead by a couple votes, then I started to get away and I realised I might have a chance and got a bit excited," he said.
"I was happy when I found out I won it."
Reggie said father Shane Jenkins (ADJA president) and Bombers coach Jade Ramsey have had the biggest impact on him.
"Probably Dad (Shane Jenkins) and my coach Jade (Ramsey) and my teammates have helped me too," he said.
His father Shane said "everyone knew he would poll well" after a dominant year which saw him captain the Bombers to an undefeated season.

"Everyone knew he would poll well, he had a really good year," he said.
"The way he uses the ball well is his main attribute, he doesn't waste the footy he gets it."
Jenkins said Reggie has been around football his whole life, however it was only recently his ability started to blossom.
"He is a pretty level-headed young kid, he works hard on his football," he said.
"He has been around it ever since he was a two-year-old, he started playing Auskick out of Tatyoon when he was still in nappies.
"He has been around it for a long time and he has really grown the past couple years, he's got good skills and brings his teammates into the game as well."

Reggie said his favourite memory of the season was in round 11 when the Bombers defeated the Rovers by two points.
"The last game we played there was 30 seconds left, we were losing by four points and we got it down to the forward line and I kicked a goal with 10 seconds left to win the game, it was awesome" he said.
Reggie barracks for Collingwood and models his game on captain Scott Pendlebury.
"I want to be like Scott Pendlebury in the midfield, he's a smooth mover," he said.
Reggie will play for the Ararat Rats next season, alongside his Bombers teammates from this season.
"I will play for rats next year I have got a couple of friends that will be there," he said.
"I played mostly midfield for the rats this year as well, hopefully I will stay in there."
