CFA Media have confirmed to the Wimmera Mail-Times that the industrial fire In Elizabeth St, Ararat is under control, with seven trucks still on the scene.
The CFA spokesperson said that one firefighter had been treated on-scene for heat exhaustion, but is ok and wasn't taken to hospital.

Emergency services were called into action this morning following a fire in Ararat's south.
Police and CFA crews were called to a fire at 11.24am in Elizabeth St, Ararat.
A CFA Media spokesperson said the fire is "believed to be in a scrap metal yard or something similar".

"Firefighting efforts are being hampered due to a lack of reticulated water and we're currently bringing up specialist gear from Ballarat including a hydraulic ladder platform," the spokesperson said.
"At the moment we've got ten including support vehicles. So ten firefighting vehicles. And that includes the gear that's still on route."
