Whether you like to fill your house with plants, as Amy Cooper did in our story - did you know that sharing your room with just one plant can improve air quality by 25 percent? Then to brush up on the latest in fitness and exercise, our story about how physical activity may be the finest aid to a good night's sleep, is worth the read.
Getting enough exercise in the week may help counter the serious health harms associated with poor sleep quality, according to a study led by University of Sydney.
The study, which was published online in the British Journal of Sports Medicine outlined that adults who included at least 2.5 hours of moderate-intensity exercise per week, or at least 1.75 hours of vigorous exercise per week, could improve the risks of cardiovascular disease and cancer.

And on a lighter note, why not test your grey matter by sitting around the kitchen table and taking our trivia test with the family. It's a bit of fun, and even the plants on the mantelpiece might enjoy it.

I love the writing game. It gets me bouncing out of bed, and dragging my feet at night when I have to finish up for the day. I started at The Bendigo Advertiser as the Creative Services Coordinator, and after many changes, I have ended up with a great 12 years with ACM (love that long service leave too as my secret gardens need tending sometimes). Working from home is tops and I hope I have many more productive times ahead.
