The Demons were boosted by the return of star Goal Attack Emma Buwalda who scored 41 goals from just three-quarters, in her first game back from a five week injury.
The home side got the early hop on the Roos leading 19 to five at the first break and although the Roos lifted in the next three quarters the damage had already been done.
Georgia Hiscock was best-on-court alongside Georgia Carberry (in club game 200) for the Demons, whilst for the Roos Emily Polack impressed.
Demons' coach Tiffany Hier was pleased with what she described as "a good win" and praised the return of a Buwalda.
