Venues across the Wimmera are to be classed as inclusive of both football and netball areas.
This means that the vast majority of the grounds across the Wimmera league are one venue and as such the venue caps apply to the entire area - for example not a separate cap for the netball court and football oval areas.
The venue cap is 150 and is inclusive of all players and the minimum number of necessary officials needed to facilitate the match.
AFL Wimmera Mallee's Jason Muldoon said at some venues, the council had approved the separation.
"As long as you've got them separated," he said.

"So that's what will happen at Murtoa.
"Nhill there won't be, they will be just one venue. So they'll have to manage the 150 cap.
"At Coughlin Park, home to Horsham Saints, because they've got the stadium that's a separate entrance - they can control that and then they'll fence off from the football."
Stawell Warriors will use North Park as the venue for netball, and football will be contested at Central Park.
"As far as venues go we're actually pretty lucky that it's sort of happened this week," Muldoon said. AFL Victoria also announced changerooms were not permitted for use, other than for use of toilet facilities and any emergency medical use.
Players must arrive ready to play and leave as soon as practical after the match has concluded.
Muldoon said the rules around changerooms was announced on Friday afternoon.
"What they said on Wednesday was contradictory to what they're saying now, so now they've pulled changerooms off the table," he said.
"We've just got to keep dealing with what they throw at us if we want to play."
