THERE have been zero new COVID-19 cases recorded in the Victorian community for the 79th consecutive day.
But the latest Department of Health data showed four new cases in the state's hotel quarantine system.
The new overseas-acquired cases bring the total number of active coronavirus cases in the state to 22.
There were 14,270 people tested for the virus on Saturday. Another 3098 people received the COVID-19 vaccine in the same timeframe.
Health authorities are continuing to manage the close contacts of the Victorian man who tested positive for coronavirus last week.
All three of the man's household primary close contacts have been tested, have returned negative results, and remain in isolation.
The 87 people who were linked to the high risk exposure sites in Melbourne have also returned negative COVID-19 tests.
Authorities are reminding anyone who has coronavirus symptoms - like a fever, cough, or change in sense of smell or taste - to get tested immediately.
