It was all hands on deck in Pomonal as Men's Shed members began moving into their new home, located behind Pomonal Community Hall.
Members gathered at the site on Thursday, May 6, to move furniture and appliances into the shed's kitchen/meeting room.
Pomonal builder Scott Spark laid the foundations for the shed and erected the building.
Men's shed members will now be carrying out the final stages of the build, including constructing internal walls and installing workbenches.
The group formed about 18 months ago, and secretary Russ Kellett said it is already thriving.
"At the moment we currently have 21 members and there are other people in the community just waiting until we'll be more involved because as well as the general activities we'll be running sessions to look at the mental health needs of men in the community," he said.
"We've got our committee up and running and we've just become incorporated, so we're our own body.
"We want to make ourselves available to people, so the more people in the community that know what we're doing the better."
The shed was funded through a state government and several contributions from the community.
