The 2019 A Grade premiers couldn't keep up with the Eagles, as their youth and and speed helped them to a 18 point win.
Warrack Eagles A Grade coach Ashlynn McKenzie was impressed and proud of how her side performed in the contest.
"We played good considering it was our first game for over 12 months, there is still areas we need improve on and we can get better, but it was definitely a tough hit out against Minyip-Murtoa," she said.
"It definitely didn't feel like we won by as much as we did."

McKenzie said her side had some fresh faces who helped them play in an attacking style.
"We have a very strong attack end with lots of agility and speed and we are looking to maximise that," she said.
"Our defenders are also starting to gel well together.
"We have had some of our senior players who had been playing A Grade step away and retire and so those new players are really stepping up and coming into their own which is really good."
Despite an impressive round one win, McKenzie knows there are areas her side can improve if they want to be a contender in 2021.
"I think we just need to work on our all over the court defence," she said.
OTHER NEWS:
"We just need to work on not getting sucked into the other team's pressure.
"There was a few times we got flustered and threw the ball away.
"We have just got to work on playing our game and using our fast and sharp movement to get that ball down the court and move down the court, and not throw it way like we did a few times today.
"Considering it was our first game and the way that we played, and the areas we can improve on, mean we can keep getting stronger.
"That's a really exciting thing for me as a coach and as a player as well."
In round two the Eagles will face the Giants, with the Giants coming off a round one bye.
Minyip-Murtoa will look to bounce back against Ararat at home, with both sides chasing their first wins of 2021.
In the other Saturday afternoon matches the Horsham Saints claimed a 55-44 win over Dimboola, while the Horsham Demons and Nhill will start their season's under lights at Horsham City Oval.
