Halls Gap Hotel Owner Matthew Humphries said he was pleased to have the business recognised by the judges once more.
"It's really nice that four years down the track that we've been lucky enough to be selected as a finalist once again," he said.
Mr Humphries said since the hotel was a finalist in 2017, the hotel has significantly evolved.
OTHER NEWS:
"We did a major renovation on the hotel in 2017-18," he said.
"From there, we've continued to do renovations and alterations and improvements to the hotel every year since.
"We've launched our new kitchen and bar called Jay Jay's Kitchen.
"We've also finalised our outdoor terrace out there with some beautiful native plants and market umbrellas. So, sitting out the back there on a nice warm day with a view of the Grampians and some nice Asian food coming out of Jay Jay's, it's a brilliant experience."
MORE NEWS:
Mr Humphries also expressed his gratitude towards his employees.
"Our staff did an amazing job, particularly when we had to adapt and come up with new ideas during COVID," he said.
"They were fantastic with their resilience to get through that period.
"Our kitchen team is also extremely well led by our head chef Angus McDonald, and he's done an amazing job over the past two years of bringing our product from what it was to what it is now."
The winners will be announced at the Crown Palladium in Melbourne on May 17.
