An Ambulance Victoria confirmed parademics were called to a crash at about 2.40pm at Stawell.
Two people were taken to Stawell Regional Health.
"A woman in her 60s was transported in a stable condition with minor injuries," they said.
"A woman in her 20s was transported in a stable condition with upper body injuries."
There is no further update.
EARLIER, 3pm:
TRAFFIC along the Western Highway in Stawell was delayed as emergency crews attended to a car crash just near the Griffith Street turn off.
Two ambulances, two police cars, firefighters and SES were all in attendance with Police and SES directing traffic around the scene.
The Ararat Advertiser understands at least one person was taken to hospital via ambulance.
The road was still blocked at 3pm while awaiting a tow truck.
