Senior forecaster for the bureau Michale Laczko said Victoria is in for a hot and humid night.
"We have quite humid and warm conditions ahead of a cold front that's approaching tomorrow," he said.
"That means a particularly warm, humid and sticky night."

In Horsham the overnight low will be 15°C, in Nhill the low will be 16°C, Warracknabeal's low overnight will be 17°C.
In Ararat the overnight low will be 16°C and in Stawell it will be 17°C.
Maximum forecasted temperatures around the area are Horsham 20°C, Nhill 21°C and Warracknabeal, a bit warmer with 23°C.
Ararat and Stawell both have a top forecast of 21°C.
Rain from the cold front will be statewide across Saturday, most likely to be in the morning for the western areas.
"West of the state will see between 3 to 8 mm most likely," Mr Laczko said.
The bureau advised to be aware of wet and slippery conditions on the roads.
Sunday will also be on the chillier side, with only Warracknabeal forecast to reach 20°C.
