The coach replacement services will be a mix of express, semi-express, and stopping all stations. However, people are asked to make extra time for their journey in all cases.
Pets or hot food and liquids are prohibited on replacement coaches, and there is also limited space for bikes.
The Ballarat Line Upgrade is in the final phase of works and safety testing.

A crew of more than 250 is presently working on signalling commissioning, critical safety testing, and driver training.
V/Line is therefore urging people to still obey the warning signs at level crossings as test trains and track machinery will still be running along the line.
