"The people here were the ones who provided the recommendation to help me get into the course and become a physio."
Mr Lewis said he has been glad to return.
"It's been really good to be back and see some old faces," he said.
"I enjoy being here and having the gym space, it's definitely a big help for our patients."
Mr Lewis is also presently helping some of the local sporting teams with injury risk assessment.

"Then when an opportunity came up I was excited to take it."
Ms Khalid said she has enjoyed her first weeks at the clinic.
"It's been a very good change," she said.
"I've been treating a lot of different injuries and it's been very interesting to put my knowledge into practice.
"The team here has been great. They've been very, very helpful, and very supportive."
Ms Khalid did not initially seek to become a physiotherapist, but said she is grateful her studies would lead her to it.
"I sought of landed in physiotherapy," she said.
"I always had a passion for the health sector but I didn't really know what area to pursue until I started studying physiotherapy and I realised there's such a wide world out there for physios.
"I love caring for patients and making a difference in their lives.
"It's rewarding to see those changes. Even just little gains, like when the patients comes back to you and says that they implemented your advice and got relief, those are little wins for you and your patients."
