Both under-13 and under-15 teams had some impressive performances over the days play.
Here's how it unfolded:
Day one and two.
The under 15's at home at Alexandra Oval on Monday against Castlemaine.
Batting first the young blue caps managed to put 125 on the board.
Hayden Dowling scored 53 batting at six with support from Sonny Kettle (23) and Brad Carter (11*). This was enough on the large Alexandra Oval outfield with the boys keeping Castlemaine to 6-121 from their 45 overs. Brad Carter took 2-13 from 3 overs to be the pick of the bowlers.
Unfortunately Tuesday's game versus Grenville was abandoned without a ball being bowled.
The 15's will play their next game at Alexandra Oval again on Thursday against Gisborne Green.
The under 13's have played two home games at Gordon Street Oval.
Monday's game they played Ballarat Blue.
OTHER NEWS:
Bowling first the junior blue caps kept Ballarat to a respectable 5/162.
The boys produced three run outs in the Ballarat innings with Harry Evans and Will Chammings taking the remaining wickets.
In reply the Grampians were only able to score 94. Brady McMahon made 21, with Jacob Dunn (12), Sam Preston (15) and Bailey Sterling (11) all making it to double figures.
On Tuesday the boys played against Castlemaine.
Bowling first again they managed to keep Castlemaine to 98.
Jacob Dunn, Sam Leishman and Harry Evans all took two wickets to keep the scoring down. In reply the Grampians batsman scored 6-126 Brady McMahon (26) again top scored with multiple players scoring in double figures including Tom Collins (15), Jacob Dunn (10), Sam Drum (18), Will Chammings (19) and Jade Burton (13).
Day three.
The Under 15's were at Alexandra Oval again this time playing host to Gisborne Green.
Batting first the young blue caps struggled to form any real partnerships losing wickets at regular intervals throughout their innings.
The boys finished all out on 98 from 38 overs.
Sonny Kettle (19), Hayden Dowling (20) and Brad Carter (15) did the bulk of the scoring. Defending a small total the boys pulled out all stops.
Taking regular wickets throughout the Gisborne innings the boys were able to defend 98 and bowl their opponents out for 93. Floyd Burmeister was the pick taking 4-11 from 6 overs.
He was well supported by Brad Carter who took 3-12 from 5 overs.

This win sees the Under 15's finish on top of their ladder and play in tomorrow's final against Ballarat White at Alfredton Oval in Ballarat. Good luck to the team in their final.
The under 13's were at Gordon Street Oval again taking on Gisborne Green. Batting first as well the 13's scored a respectable 9-117 from their 40 overs.
After the top order struggled it was left to Will Chammings (19), Harry Evans (43) and Jade Burton (25) to steady the ship through the middle and go about scoring enough for the boys to defend. Unfortunately it wasn't enough with Gisborne chasing the score down and finishing 8-155. Harry Evans continued his good day taking 4-12 amd being involved in a run out as well.
Tom Collins, Sam Leishman and Will Chammings all took a wicket each.
Day four.
The under 13 and 15 country week's wrapped up today with the 15's playing in the Grand Final in Ballarat.
The under 15's batted first at Alfredton and managed to score 131 from their 40 overs.
A decent target for the opposing Ballarat White team to chase down. Sonny Kettle (31) Hayden Dowling (11) Brad Carter (22) and Charlie Leishman (16) were the top run scores. With Hayden continuing his good week with the bat finishing with 84 runs from 3 games. Ballarat set about chasing the total and batted incredibly well for their 40 overs. The Grampians boys were only able to take 1 wicket in the 34 overs bowled with Ballarat finishing 1-203.
The lone wicket taker was Max McMahon. Brad Carter and Floyd Burmeister finished with 5 wickets a piece for the week.
In the Under 13s the boys batted first and piled the runs on. They finished 2-201. Tom Collins, Brady McMahon and Sam Preston all retired 40 not out and Harry Evans (23) Jade Burton (21) finished the innings off strong. Brady McMahon finished the week with 94 runs from his four hits. In reply Grampians took a steady stream of wickets and restricted Ballarat to 160 from 39.3 overs. Harry Evans again dominated with the ball taking 4-18 including a hatrick.
Jack Harney took 2-24 to finish the innings off. Harry Evans finished the week with 11 wickets.
