Paramedics are assessing three people on Derby Road, between Maryborough and Daisy Hill, after the crash which occurred just before 11.30am.
Injuries are unknown, but two people were reportedly trapped in their vehicles.
Police, SES, CFA and paramedics are all on the scene.
The crash comes after the death of a 74-year-old Amphitheatre man whose car veered into a tree following what is believed to be a medical episode near Maryborough on Sunday.
More to come.
