Built in 1864 by the Moffatt family of Chatsworth, the Victorian style house is designed with Elizabethan and Gothic style features.
Listing agent Leeson White of Charles Stewart Real Estate said the property was a "restoration delight".
"There is going to be a significant amount of investment to bring it back to its original state," he said.
"We are getting a huge amount of interest from people not only in Victoria but also interstate and overseas ... I just spoke to a girl from the Middle East.
