It comes as the South Australian government has announced changes to how freely Victorians can move to the state.
The Department of Health and Human Services reports there are no cases of the virus in any of the Northern Grampians, Horsham, Hindmarsh, West Wimmera and Yarriambiack council areas.
Ararat last recorded a case of the virus on August 18, and has been free of COVID-19 since September 1.

On Tuesday afternoon, South Australian Premier Steven Marshall announced South Australian and Victorian cross border communities will be able to travel within a 70-kilometre radius of the border without needing a reason to do so.
The change comes into effect from Saturday.
"At the same time, South Australians returning home and Victorians moving permanently to South Australia are now able to come into South Australia, provided 14 days of quarantine on arrival is still adhered to," he said in a Facebook post.
Mr Marshall announced the cross-border community area would extend from 40 to 70 kilometres in either direction on October 6.
West Wimmera Shire council last recorded an active case of coronavirus on August 5, and there have been none in the border council since August 20.
