"While we wait for the ability to safely open all our indoor facilities, the community can get into an early summer," said Ararat Rural City Council chief executive Dr Tim Harrison.
"The Pool will be a little chilly, but it's nothing those who are eager to get back into their fitness won't soldier through.
"As the weather warms up, we will be able to extend these hours and welcome more people back.
"Season passes this year are a great bargain, as we are opening a month and half earlier than usual. Giving people 30% more time at the pool for the same price as last season."
