There have been zero cases with an unknown source reported in regional local government areas in the past 24 hours.
Today's update comes after a daily increase of just two cases on Friday, and six on both Thursday and Wednesday.
Premier Daniel Andrews has hinted "significant steps" could be taken on Sunday.
"We have stayed the course, we have not let our frustrations get the better of us. We as a state have been as stubborn as the virus in our fight to defeat it," he said on Friday
