The uniforms were left in the cupboard this week as East Grampians Health Service's Garden View Court hostel staff dressed up to brighten the residents' days.
To go alongside the costumes, the dining room was decked out with colour, tablecloths, streamers and balloons and there was plenty of loud music for residents to sing and dance along to on Tuesday,
"Many of our residents have been staying home and have not been able to go out for some time, or may not have had a lot of visitors, due to COVID-19, so we thought this was a way of brightening their day," Garden View Court manager Maree Fraser said.
"Some of our residents even got into the spirit of the day by dressing up too."
