Stawell Police have found drugs in a vehicle travelling on Ararat Road, Stawell.

The vehicle was travelling more than 30 kilometres per hour over the posted speed limit.
Stawell Sergeant Eddie Malpas said the incident occurred at about 10pm on Tuesday evening.
"During the intercept, police located an amount of cannabis," he said.
"The 29-year-old driver received a penalty notice for speeding, a fine of $600 and incurring a 6-month licence suspension.
"A 29-year-old passenger was eligible for and subsequently issued a cannabis caution."
