Zero new COVID-19 cases have been recorded in the Ararat Rural City Council region.
One active case remain in the region, while there have been six cases in total.
The Northern Grampians meanwhile had one case removed, taking its total back to one active case.
On Thursday the DHHS said the Northern Grampians had two active cases and five in total.
On Friday, new statistics show it has one active case and four in total.
The Horsham shire region remained steady with seven active cases.
It comes as 627 new cases were recorded in the past 24 hours - the second highest daily increase since the pandemic started.
There has also been eight more COVID-19 related deaths.
