In total,139 people were tested during the week from June 20 to June 26, slightly below the 157 tested the week before.
Meanwhile west of Ararat in Horsham, testing has skyrocketed in response to an outbreak.
350 people were tested at a drive-through clinic in the town across both Saturday and Sunday, as several members of the Australian Defence Forced arrive to assist.
The Horsham council region had seven active cases on Monday.
There was also a miscommunication between the Wimmera Health Care Group and the DHHS creating confusion around whether asymptomatic people can be tested.
The Wimmera Health Care Group announced that it would be testing asymptomatic persons on Sunday, but has since been forced to backtrack.
Only people with symptoms and those deemed close contacts of a positive COVID-19 case can now get tested.
