Gallery 127 has opened again with a beautiful exhibition by Belinda Rogers. It is located in the recently transformed and heritage listed Avoca Railway Station building. The Gallery presents exhibitions of paintings, photographs and sculptures by local and regional artists.

Valley Walk, Pyrenees State Forest
Valley Walk is a easy 20 minute (return) walk, signposted from the Waterfalls Picnic Area and follows the course of the No.2 Creek upstream to a rock outcropping. There are numerous tracks throughout the forest, which also make ideal short walks.

Chalambar Golf and Bowls Club
Chalambar Golf and Bowls Club is situated at the foot of One Tree Hill with magnificent views across the Pyrenees Ranges and Mount Langi Ghiran. Visitors can test their skills on the challenging Par 70 layout and motorised golf carts are available for hire. The turf bowls green is also available for a social game of bowls.

Animal encounters at Halls Gap Zoo
Animal encounters at Halls Gap Zoo are back! Guests can now meet some of the zoo's animals up close again. You can experience one-on-one encounters with dingoes, giraffes, meerkats, wombats and rhinos. The zoo also offers the only red panda encounter in Victoria. If you can't make it to the zoo in person, their Facebook page provides updates and fun facts about the animals and zookeepers.

Dunkeld Arboretum
A short walk from the Dunkeld Hotel, the Dunkeld Arboretum has a walking track around a small lake with timber bridges, a small pier, a historic saw mill, red gums and local native wildlife.
