Ararat Crime Investigation Unit (detectives) are investigating a grass fire in Halls Gap on Wednesday 15 April.
Police and emergency services were called to the fire in the vicinity of Serra Road about 4pm.
The fire burnt approximately two acres of grassland.
The investigation into the cause of the fire is ongoing.

Thursday 7.30am: ARARAT detectives have this morning returned to an area of the Grampians National Park where a fire flared up.
A sergeant said the land near Moora Moora Reservoir began burning around 5pm on Wednesday afternoon.
