The annual event draws competitors from across the community to tackle the 16 and eight kilometre trails. This year funds raised will go to the Red Cross Bushfire Relief Appeal.
"We consider it an extremely important donation because we've seen first hand in our community the terrible issues that bushfires cause," committee volunteer Heather Fleming said.
"The Red Cross itself was most helpful to many of our community members, not only in the 2006 fires but beyond that as well. This is our way of being able to thank the Red Cross and support the work they do in helping those affected so badly by bushfire."
Ms Fleming said anyone not registered can still register on the day.
"They're welcome to come on the day and register at Willaura Recreation Reserve, and they would need to do that prior to leaving on the run by 3.30pm," Ms Fleming said.
Christians Bus Service will provide a bus and driver free of charge to the recreation reserve.
Organisers have changed the format this year and removed the handicap system, although participants in the 16 kilometre run and ride, and the eight kilometre run will still be timed.
Participants will be rewarded with a pub meal and bar that's open from 4pm.
A raffle prize has been donated by the AFL and the winner will win four tickets to a preliminary final, with raffle proceeds to go towards Beyond Blue.
