Halls Gap took on St Andrews for the title. The Gappers won the toss and elected to bat.
After two boundaries from Brady McMahon in the first over St Andrews were able to claim his prized wicket with a sizzling catch from Will Hope.
After a very competitive batting and bowling performance from both sides, Halls Gap managed to put together a very competitive 4-119 from their 22 overs.
Bailey Stirling, 26, Johnathon Baker, 25 and Brodie O'Donohue, 23, were the leading scores whilst for St. Andrews the wickets went to Summers, Preston, Cardinaels and Burton.
St. Andrews started solidly in their run chase with Deakan Hemley 20, Caleb Summers 13 and Sam Preston 14 getting the team off to a great start.
Rishi Kalluri, 20, battled superbly in the middle order and lower order siblings Oli, 10, and Audrey, 9 Reynolds steered St. Andrews to victory in the latter overs to a final score of 6-141 and enabled the St. Andrews players to claim the Naram Naram shield.
Addison Hutchins 2-25 and Barney Baker 3-16 were the pick of the Halls Gap bowlers.
The game was played in great spirits and was a terrific finish to what has been a great GCA under-13 season and an excellent development springboard for these young cricketers in to under-16s and then hopefully become stars of the future in the senior competition.
Junior president Geoff Phillips was in attendance to present the under-13 shield and spoke highly of the quality and importance of the under-13 competition to the GCA.
