- Georgie Stewart
Stewart, in her fifth year of netball at the club, said it was her first year trying out for the representative team.
"The tryouts were tough. There were a lot of players there with a lot of talent," she said. "We had to play a couple of teams and were moved around positions a bit to see where we could fit in.
"We were pretty exhausted afterwards. The first tryout was for two hours which was pretty tough since we hadn't played netball since the end of last season."
Stewart, 13, said she was looking forward to playing in the representative team.
"I play defence at Navarre and there were a few players trying out and were picked who are defenders," she said.
"Although I would like to play defence I would be happy to play anywhere on the side."
