Scheduled for the last Sunday of every season during the year, the community group pledges money raised for each event to an array of causes.

The latest donation was to Ararat's Gorrin Village for the purchase of an adjustable shower chair.

Chief executive Robyn Woods-Gebler said the chair would have a positive impact on the retirement village.

"These chairs are very hard to find," she said.

"You can get small ones for children but they are still the same height - they are just smaller in width.

"This is the only type of adjustable chair I could find."

Ms Woods-Gebler said if residents weren't able to climb up into a shower chair, extra resources were needed to assist.

"You would need a lifting machine and two staff to put someone through the shower," she said.

Bookings are being taken for the upcoming high tea on February 24.

Hall committee member Di Noske said the high teas were growing in popularity, the event now in it's third year.

"Our first high tea was fundraising for Gorrin House and we found it to be so successful," she said.

"It was wonderful to show that even though we are a small community in Moyston, punches about it's weight and helps out where needed.

"Our next fundraiser we have pledged to the Victorian Bushfire appeal."
