Landsborough will be at home to Chalambar and after a great win last week, Chally will be looking to consolidate its position in the top four. Landsborough is a much better side at home and will give themselves a real chance of an upset win if the rumours are correct that a couple of Chally's top players are unavailable this week.
In the match of the round, Aradale will be on the road again this week to try and keep its finals program alive but they will have to play better than last week to get over the Ararat VRI side, who are playing some great bowls at the moment.
The run home for Aradale is tough, having to play three out of four of its matches away from home.
Stawell Golf Gold, who are hanging onto fourth position on the ladder, cannot afford to lose.
The two Stawell sides will go into battle at the Stawell green. Both sides know the green well and this is also a very important match for Golf, as they only just hold on to third position on the ladder by one point - a loss could see them drop out of the top four depending on other results.
DIVISION 2
Stawell Golf Blue will be at home again and will take on second-placed side, Stawell Blue, in what should be the match of the round. The Golf side slipped out of the four after a loss to Bolac Black and will be looking to get back on the winners' list this week.
Lake Bolac Black is at home against VRI and should prove too strong for the visitors. After a great win last week, Bolac will be starting to think about finals. The two Ararat sides will do battle this week and a close game should be the result, as they sit together on the ladder just outside the top four.
Top side Stawell Gold will be playing bottom side Bolac Red on the Stawell Green, the home side is well clear on top of the ladder and should be too strong.
Stawell Golf Gold, who is hanging onto fourth position on the ladder, cannot afford to lose this week but will come up against one of the best sides outside of the top four in Aradale so a close tough match is on the cards.
