In a time where businesses shut down over the Christmas and New Year break, region's residents and tourists have flocked to the water ways to find an avenue to cool off.
With the temperature set to rise again on Friday, Stawell's forecast to reach 39 degrees while Ararat is tipped to reach one degree cooler with a top of 38, finding ways to keep cool will be needed.
