The 2019 theme of celebrating accessibility was in full show as community groups gathered in the garden over lunch time. With a range of activities to keep people busy Ararat Neighbourhood House's Lou Makin said it was a fantastic turn out.
"The day was about celebrating the successes and achievements of all members within our community," she said.
"We were overwhelmed by the numbers on the day.
"We ran out of sausages at the sausage sizzle so I guess we had more people through the event than we expected. I'm really proud of the organising committee and of the people who attended today."
Ms Makin said there had been some wonderful feedback from the event with requests for another event to be hosted.
