Coaches monitored the group's workload in the 40 degree heat and largely concentrated on ball work.
The rising stars worked through drills and got their first taste of what is required at NAB League level.
Overseeing it all were local coaches Shayne Breuer, Brendan Bryan, Ben Lakin and Justin Chilver.
The group will help prepare the 50 selected footballers for a potential representative berth.
An under-18's squad and an under-16's squad will train at Coughlin Park each Monday and Wednesday during the off-season, taking a break over the Christmas period.
More than 140 Rebels hopefuls region-wide began pre-season training this week.
The final Rebels squad is expected to be announced in March next year.
