The men's state triples competition was held at the Stawell Bowling Club on Sunday November 10.

There were eight teams entered with two sections of four.
The matches were over 15 ends of two bowl triples.
In the first section the team of Neil Coates, Andrew Cray and Andrew Sharp took out match with two wins and a draw.
They will now progress to Horsham on the long weekend in March for the regional knockout matches to try and progress down to the last 16 in the state
In the other section it was a last minute fill in side of Graeme Templeton, Brenton Russell and Robert Cray with three wins that were victorious.
The final was then held over 18 ends with the two sides close with the lead changing a few times.
The team with Andrew Sharp skipping slipped away in the last couple of ends to win 22-12.
They will now progress to Horsham on the long weekend in March for the regional knockout matches to try and progress down to the last 16 in the state.
This was where they managed to finish in last year's competition.
