There wer a solid number of quality entries with a range of styles on display, but there could only be one winner in each category.
Lady of the Day went to Doris Jovic, of Melbourne, who wore a piece she had made herself.
"I probably started entering about five years ago," Ms Jovic said.
"I sat on the sidelines for a long time because I wasn't sure and thought I don't know how I'll go, but the girls are really supportive and I've found it to be a lovely community.
"This is my sixth event this week."
Competing so often could get expensive but Ms Jovic said she circumvents the cost somewhat by making her own pieces.
"I made this skirt that I'm wearing today," she said. "I was very excited when I found the fabric so I try and keep a handle on it and try to keep it not too expensive and lots of fun.
"It means that I can have unique things which is kind of fun. Also, I don't always find what I like, or if I do it's a little bit expensive. I love keeping that skill and handicraft alive, and my daughter's now become interested in it as well."
Gentleman of the Day went to Stephen Perryman while Local Lady of the Day went to Carly Crouch, of Stawell.
Miss Junior 10 to 12 Years went to Rubi Crouch, in an outfit Mum picked out for her.
"I like having fun and going to the races and having a good day out," she said.
