An open waters competition opened the new season for the Stawell and District Angling Club.

Anglers fished Taylors Lake, Green Lake, Lake Wendouree and also Lake Fyans, where most fish were caught.
Greame Nuske began the season well landing three reddies at Fyans for a total length of 995cm from Dave Wilson's two reddies at 80 cm, also from Fyans.
Doug Collins fished Green Lake for two nice redfin measuring 70cm.

Damien Keirl fished Lake Wendouree for a plump 60cm brown trout for the longest fish award.
The next club outing is at Lake Fyans from 6am Saturday the 5th until 11 am Sunday the 6th of October.
