He is a pastor at City Heart Church of Christ, a justice of the peace and founder of the Stawell Men's Shed, to name a few of his roles.
After 10 years as president of the Stawell region Men's Shed committee, Terry retired last week.
Stawell Regional Health wish to acknowledge him for his commitment to men's health in the area.
One of the aims of Men's Sheds is to improve the health and wellbeing of members and reduce the number of men who are at risk from preventable health issues that may arise from isolation.
Stawell Men's Shed is no different. This is where men come when they are lonely, bored, isolated.
The Men's Shed volunteers and members help to give new members a purpose, new skills and encouragement.
"The decision to retire was a tough one. The Men's Shed is such a big part of me," Terry said.
It is an achievement that I am very proud of. When local resident, Brian Winters, first asked me to set up a [Stawell] Men's Shed, I had no idea what he was talking about, but I did some research and started looking for financial assistance.

"It is an achievement that I am very proud of. When local resident, Brian Winters, first asked me to set up a [Stawell] Men's Shed, I had no idea what he was talking about, but I did some research and started looking for financial assistance.
"After a long search, we approached Stawell Regional Health because we heard that they were raising money to do something around men's health.
"We have been fortunate to maintain a great relationship with them ever since. We could not survive without the financial assistance that they give us."
Stawell Regional Health is proud to have been there at the start of the Stawell Men's Shed and it is proud that the shed is continuing to address key health issues in our community by offering support to isolated community members.
