New enrollments are open for both SPACi Little Ones, for ages 5 to 9, and SPACi Young Ones, for ages 8 to 17.
The Young Ones program puts on an annual show on stage at the Stawell Entertainment Centre at the end of Team 2 each year.
The 2019 show, Sing Me A Story, was attended by over 400 primary school students and teachers as well as 65 community members.
Young Ones also perform at Christmas carols and other local events throughout the year, with many Young Ones building their abilities to perform in larger SPACi, school and regional productions both solo and chorus.
The programs build skills for the stage including singing in parts and harmonies, movement and stagecraft, public speaking as well as confidence and creativity.
Program leader Dianne Stewart said she was inspired to create the program for young people.
"I believe in the powerful positive effect that being involved in the arts, particularly singing in groups has for young people," she said.
"I am inspired and encouraged by the ideas and ideologies of highly recognised music educators such as the late Richard Gill and Choir of Hard Knocks founder Johnathan Welsh.
