The current day Stawell Warriors netball sub-committee was tasked with the challenge of picking a team of the best players to represent the club since the merge two decades ago.
That sub-committee picked from a selection of "about 25 players" who were shortlisted by 10 prominent club individuals from the past 20 years including coaches, members, committee and players.

Criteria players were judged on included playing at least two seasons, being picked to play in the positions they played in during their career, their service and loyalty to the club as well as playing achievements.
It is the first time the club has picked a side like this.
Gaye Kramer was chosen to coach the 10-player team, with current day A Grade player and Hatcher Medallist Jemma Clarkson selected as captain.
"The current netball sub-committee, worked hard to choose the team. It was all of us except one who was in the running for selection. In order to be transparent she stood aside," selection committee member Debbie Bach said.
"The five of us had a lot of discussion, particularly around a few positions.
"It was not an easy task at all but it's one pretty great team we have got together. It'd be nice to have them playing all together."
Bach said selection in the team is something to be cherished by those players.
"It is a huge achievement and it is also fantastic for the club to see players who have come right through the ranks from juniors into the best team of the last 20 years," she said.
