Minyip-Murtoa go into the game off the back of their narrowest win of the season, holding off Southern Mallee Giants to win by just one-point last weekend.
The Warriors have enjoyed a strong run of form leading into the crucial contest, winning five of their last six games, including a scrappy victory over Horsham Demons last Saturday.
Several Warriors pulled up sore from that game, with John McIntyre to miss at least the next two weeks with a quad injury.
Joiner said otherwise his side should be similar.
"It is just that time of year, it is not just our team that has sore players," he said.
"Those other guys who pulled up sore against Horsham should be alright. We will just see how things go at training."
Joiner missed last weekend's game and said he is a possible inclusion.
"I am probably 50-50, like other guys I'll just have to see how I go at training," he said.
Stawell was competitive over three quarters when they last played the Burras, but were blown away in the first quarter.
Joiner said his side is aware of what they need to do better this weekend.
"The start of the year was when first quarters were our worst, we are confident we won't let that happen again," he said.
"They have a lot of big bodies around the midfield so it will all be about getting our hands on the ball first, playing smart footy and trying to cut them open."
Things don't get any easier for Stawell's A Grade side this weekend. Coming off a heavy loss against the Demons, the Warriors have to match up against the undefeated Burras who are shaping up as the team to beat this year. Stawell's defenders will have a challenge against another high-scoring opposition.
