After a week's rest we welcome some much-needed players into the senior team.
The return of BJ Birch Burton, Bradley Palipuaminni, Jesse Bennett, Shannon Notting and Lachie Molloy will be a bonus for the team after coming off a disastrous loss against Caramut.
The boys had a horrid day out and failed to get many goals on the board.
Even though they kept Caramut to two points in the second half, it was still wasn't enough to get the team over the line.
CONNECTION
It was very disappointing to lose this game but on the plus side coach Will Bell has had two interviews with radio stations talking about the success of the club after coming out of recess and the successful transition of the Tiwi players into the community.
We are so proud of how the club has conducted themselves in the transitioning of the Tiwi players and are very thankful to all the people who help by having the players live in their homes, taking them on outings and assisting with any problems that arise. We feel as a club that we will continue the association with the Tiwi players and continue to have them at the club in coming years.
FIRST WIN
The Under 16 side had its first win of the season against Tatyoon.
The team have struggled to put it all together on game days but in the horrendous conditions they all played as a team and got coach Mal Wineberg a much-deserved win.
Best players on the day were A Graham, T Wineberg, L Lee, J Harrison, L Cooper and S Hoare.
Let's hope the boys can keep up the good work and get some more wins on the board.
