Spectators and players see Trotter's smiling face greeting them at the gate every Saturday morning at Stawell's home games.
Trotter sits in his chair, rugged up to keep warm, and sells raffle tickets for the club. He starts at about 9am and doesn't leave till around 6pm.
On away games, Trotter is lucky enough on some weeks to receive the support of disability service Pinnacle, to take him to some games.
"I love the football club. Everyone is so friendly and nice," he said.
"I like watching the boys playing football."
Trotter also runs 'Phip's wheel' on a Thursday night, selling tickets after training to players and supporters for the spinning wheel.
Last Thursday night Trotter was lucky enough to spin his number and won first prize with number '83' and collected the roast.
"I'm looking forward to eating the roast," he said.
"I don't like gravy but I love roast potatoes so we will have them with it."
On Thursday nights Trotter also helps out other volunteers at the club.
"I help Rachel Matthews take all the food upstairs and I help out in the kitchen," he said.
"I also tell a joke. I have a joke book and get all my jokes from there."
Trotter has been around the club for a long time with family playing for Stawell.
He said his favourite player at the Warriors was the coach, Damian Joiner.
"I think he is very skilful and I like the way he coaches the boys," he said.
"He is one of the best footballers I have seen."
Growing up and educated in Stawell, Trotter's love for the home team's red and black colours isn't more fitting as he barracks for Essendon in the AFL.
"My favourite player is Dyson Heppell," he said.
"I think he needs to cut his hair. I don't like it.
"I've been to a few AFL games and am going again in a couple of weeks."
Trotter said he is lucky that football goes almost all year round.
"I don't like cricket. In summer, I just wait for football season again," he said.
"I go in the rooms when the boys warm up and again after the game.
"Last week when Stawell won, after the song I got a pie to eat and had a beer."
"He's very reliable. He loves the club and the players and committee love him," Stawell Warriors president Tim Williams said.
"He is great to have around and brings the place to life, especially for Thursday night tea.
"He is around rain, hail or shine and loves the Stawell footy club nearly as much as he loves his Bombers."
