The planes ranged from small foam electric planes to large five or six foot wingspans, and were on floats that take off from the water.
Other than a bit of wind the weekend was perfect.
Foster Taylor of Camperdown said the event was a chance to learn from others and see old friends.
"Go and have a fly, go and talk to everybody you haven't seen for six or 12 months," he said.
"I'm retired now and I work on the principle that I go to a float fly for a talk and if I get a fly then that's a bonus."
Mr Taylor said Lake Bolac was a fantastic location to spend a long weekend flying in.
"This spot is just perfect," he said.
"You've got a beach along here that you can put all your models along ... you've got the township here with the caravan park, we went out two nights for a beautiful meal at the pub."
